We're all for empowering women 365 days of the year, but as it's International Women's Day we thought we'd show some of our favourite female-owned brands a bit of extra love. Take it away, girls..

Lowie is a heritage-inspired clothing brand that was started by Bronwyn Lowenthal in 2002. Never straying from their dedication to minimal environmental impact, all of Lowie's clothes are beautifully designed and ethically made.

 

TOOLALLY

Toolally is an elegant perspex jewellery brand known for its bold and colourful designs. All of their pieces are handmade in their studio surrounded by the Yorkshire and Lancashire hills. 

 

INAVA PAVANI

Inava Pavani is a luxury activewear brand that recognises the value of a technical fit. Established in July of 2017, their designs and products look beyond the workout, creating versatile fitgear that transcends seasons with timeless design.

 

MAIK

MAiK is a graphic lifestyle brand started by Cat Thorogood in 2015. The brand is known for its great looking graphic pieces that are sustainably sourced and ethically produced, and all of their prints are designed exclusively in house.


HAMMAM HAVLU

Hammam Havlu is a hammam towel brand from Hertfordshire with strong Turkish roots. They are the UK's first dedicated ethical hammam towel brand, and every item they sell is unique and created with a respect and love of Turkish culture.
 

A WEATHERED PENNY

A Weathered Penny is a London-based jewellery brand started by Kayleigh Carter in 2012. Every piece is conceptualised with modern design in mind - the result is striking jewellery that encompasses the brand’s ethos of minimal design at a minimal cost.
